Holy Communion

Do this in remembrance of meOur Student service this Sunday (January 27th) will include Holy Communion. In the Episcopal Church, Communion is offered to all baptized Christians who recognize the Body of Christ (I Corinthians 11:29), whether members of the Episcopal Church or not. Communion is given to those who extend their hands to receive it; those who don’t extend their hands are given a blessing. The bread should be eaten immediately. To receive the wine, take the bottom of the cup with your hand and guide it to your lips, or dip the bread in the wine. If you do not wish to receive the wine, cross your hands over your breast when the cup is offered to you. May God especially bless those joining us in this sacrament for the first time.
