Join us, Sunday August 25th, 11 am, Heinz Chapel!

Orientation week is here, which means that the Episcopal Campus Ministry at Pitt will be around a lot—the Heinz Chapel tours on Tuesday August 20th, ‘Spiritual Connections’ in the William Pitt Union on Thursday the 22nd, the Bellefield Avenue block party on Saturday the 24th, our first service of the Semester in Heinz Chapel on Sunday the 25th, and the Student Activities Fair in the afternoon of the 25th.

Heinz Memorial ChapelThe service on the 25th is at 11 am, and the Heinz Chapel is at the far end of the Cathedral of Learning lawn, where many orientation week events take place. If you have a musical instrument, please bring it—we will have sheet music and guitar tabs for at least one hymn.

We will be going through the gospel of Mark in the sermons during the semester—as we say in the Prayer Book, read Mark, learn and inwardly digest, in order that we may hold fast, especially during our college years, the blessed hope of  everlasting life through Jesus Christ our Lord!
